| Pravin Mishra, DVM |
Pravin Mishra is a veterinarian graduated from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh and Former Visiting Scholar at Department of Poultry Science, University of Georgia, Athens, USA (funded by Poultry Science Association, USA), where he gained sound experience in poultry nutrition research working in Dr. Woo Kyun Kim’s lab. He has also been working with Prof. Dr. Rajesh Jha (Department of Human Nutrition, Food and Animal Sciences, University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa,
Honolulu, HI) remotely, especially to understand research methodologies
and writing manuscripts. Besides of this, he is also serving as
a Regional Director for Poultry Science Association Hatchery, USA (Region-10- East Asia) and Founding President of International Students’ Association of Bangladesh Agricultural University.
His research interest is towards poultry nutrition focused on effects of probiotics, dietary fibers, and omega-3 fatty acids on their gut health, gut microbiota, immunity and overall performance.
